We are partnering with a global MNC headquartered in US who is renowned for their CDMO / CRO services a nd full suite of solutions in supporting laboratory testing and manufacturing activities . As a key provider of microbiological services, they are now looking to expand the Validations & Facilities team in Singapore. The Senior Validation Engineer role is an important headcount ensuring the qualification & validation of equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for leading end-to-end validation activities across equipment, facilities, utilities, and systems within a regulated laboratory environment . It involves planning and executing validation projects (including IQ/OQ/PQ), developing and maintaining validation protocols and SOPs, and ensuring compliance with relevant GMP, ISO, and data integrity standards.
The position also requires coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing project timelines and resources, supporting audits and inspections as a subject matter expert, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, the role will provide technical guidance and mentorship to a small team while overseeing documentation, investigations, and overall validation lifecycle delivery .
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Equipment and Validation projects within the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology industry. You will need to be familiar working in an ISO17025 / GMP environment, with good understanding of system commissioning, qualification & validation for systems as per GAMP 5 and USP 1058. Having some experience in mentoring junior coordinators will be an added advantage.
