We are partnering with a leading Singapore-based design and project solutions consultancy with a strong presence across Asia. The company specializes in creating innovative healthcare, laboratory, and research environments. Bringing together expertise in interior design, space planning, workflow optimization, project management, and engineering , the team delivers end-to-end solutions that enhance functionality, efficiency, and user experience. Their portfolio spans government agencies, hospitals, research institutions, and private sector organizations , with a focus on sustainable, cost-effective, and technically sophisticated projects.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Division Manager , the Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical (M&E) works for design-and-build turnkey projects, ensuring successful execution from planning through completion. Working closely with project managers, designers, consultants, professional engineers, and subcontractors, the role involves reviewing engineering designs , managing site activities , leading technical coordination , preparing and reviewing shop drawings and specifications, and resolving technical issues on-site.
The successful candidate will ensure all works comply with project requirements , design intent, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines while contributing to the efficient delivery of high-quality projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Construction, Facilities Management, and/or Architecture sectors. You will need to have proven engineering experience in Mechanical & Electrical projects , with strong working knowledge of MEP principles & technologies . You will also need to be proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentations, with knowledge of AutoCAD .
