We are partnering with a Singapore-based healthcare investment platform backed by a leading private equity firm with strong institutional heritage . The group acquires and develops SME healthcare and life sciences distribution businesses across Asia, spanning MedTech, Laboratories, and Pharmaceuticals. As the group continues to scale, they are hiring a Commercial Manager to support value creation and commercial enablement across the portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group CEO , you will serve as a commercial enabler and thought partner across the group's portfolio companies, helping to identify and champion cross-selling opportunities , facilitating the sharing of commercial ideas, and supporting founders and management teams in strengthening their businesses. Crucially, you will operate with a light touch, advising and influencing rather than directing, and respecting the autonomy of each subsidiary.
You will help organise and facilitate founders' exchange platforms to promote cross-portfolio collaboration and idea-sharing, while also supporting post-acquisition onboarding of new portfolio companies through structured playbooks and induction programmes. As the group grows, you will also contribute to corporate governance, risk frameworks, and platform-level digital enablement initiatives to ensure scalability across the business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with minimum 5 years of experience in either a Commercial role within healthcare or life sciences (sales, business development, or account management), or in Consulting with exposure to healthcare clients. You will need understand what good sales strategy looks like, know how to work with SME founders and management teams, and comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you need to earn trust rather than impose authority.
Strong project management, structured thinking, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Prior exposure to Southeast Asian markets, post-acquisition integration, or governance frameworks will be an added advantage.
