We are partnering with a leading Japanese MNC in Medical Devices , operating across multiple markets with strong links to a global headquarters. The business plays a critical role in advancing hospital and chronic care solution s, combining deep clinical expertise with long-term investment in innovation, integrated care models, and digital enablement. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional HR Lead , the HR Manager will serve as a key HR business partner to the Singapore office, managing the full spectrum of HR functions across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and learning & development . The role works closely with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, supports workforce planning and organisational design, and provides HR guidance on key people decisions that impact culture and operations.

The position also plays an important role in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulatory standards within a highly regulated medical device environment. This includes maintaining HR systems and documentation, supporting audits and regulatory inspections, implementing compliance and leadership training programmes, and conducting market benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally within the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and/or Life Sciences industries. You will need to have strong working knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR best practices , with demonstrated experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. Having prior experience working in a regulated and compliance-driven environment will be a strong advantage
