We are partnering with a leading Japanese MNC in Medical Devices , operating across multiple markets with strong links to a global headquarters. The business plays a critical role in advancing hospital and chronic care solution s, combining deep clinical expertise with long-term investment in innovation, integrated care models, and digital enablement. Due to regional expansion , they are now looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join their Operations team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager , the Demand Planner will be responsible for analysing factory capacity and customer demand across APAC subsidiaries to develop accurate supply and demand forecasts and ordering plans. This includes issuing purchase orders, liaising with factories and freight forwarders on stock replenishment and shipping schedules, executing allocation strategies to optimise inventory levels across each subsidiary, and managing production order prioritisation for selected products. You will also monitor subsidiary orders for adherence to forecast and inventory policies, and support the management of tender business and order fulfilment .

The role also carries responsibility for inventory health management , including executing policies and procedures for damaged goods, dead stock, and expired items, driving continuous improvement initiatives across subsidiaries, and maintaining robust reporting on inventory data and performance metrics.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with at least 3 - 5 years of Demand Planning experience, with a demonstrated track record in managing a large volume of SKUs across regional markets , particularly in Southeast Asia and South Asia . You will need to be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Power Query) and Power BI , and have working experience with SAP . While industry background is open, candidates from Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or FMCG sectors will be well-suited for this role.
